In Sevastopol, after a major overhaul, school No. 60 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Pilipenko opened
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On Monday, February 12, school No. 60 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Stepanovich Pilipenko (located on Nikolai Muzyki Street) opened in Sevastopol after a major overhaul.
Let me remind you that this is the largest of all the schools that we renovated last year under the presidential program. The school consists of four buildings. Specialists completely replaced communications, roofing, windows and doors, and updated building facades. The school has new equipment, including multimedia boards, as well as modern computer technology. Thanks to the renovation, the school, which previously could accommodate 700 students, will now be able to accommodate 1,000 children— commented the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to his information, old outbuildings around the school were demolished and new fencing was installed.
According to the presidential program, 4 buildings were completely renovated here. Specialists replaced all on-site networks, restored the gym, tidied up the canteen building, and installed new fencingsaid Razvozhaev.
In addition, the builders landscaped the area and paved the area near the institution — now the children will have a place for ceremonial celebrations.
Actually, this week at the renovated school began with a ceremonial assembly.
The school has become much more spacious, convenient and comfortable. Both children and teachers were waiting for the completion of the renovation — and today they all finally returned to their home school. After the assembly, I taught a lesson for the children on “Talking about Important Things”, today its topic was Pioneer’s Day. I always have great pleasure communicating with our guys— summed up the head of Sevastopol.
