In Sevastopol, almost a hundred families want to adopt a child

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, 95 families want to become family members for children left without parental care. There are currently 22 such children in the regional data bank.

Families with children, including adopted children, have access to various benefits and payments at the federal and regional levels, said Evgenia Pytko, deputy head of the social security department of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of Sevastopol.

One of the largest is regional maternity capital, which is provided under the regional project “Financial support for families at the birth of children” for the second child born in 2019. The period for applying for maternity capital is not limited — benefits can be received at any time until the child turns 18 years old. To do this, it is enough to submit an application through State Services, the MFC or the district social protection office,” noted Evgenia Pytko.

Last year, residents of Sevastopol adopted 13 orphans and children left without parental care, and since the beginning of 2023 — 7 children.

On the site adopt.rf All the necessary information is available: what documents to collect, what requirements apply to candidates and how to apply for adoption. Detailed information about measures to support families with children can be found on the website nationalprojects.rf.

Let us remind you that support for families with children is provided within the framework of the national project “Demography”.
