In Sevastopol, an 18-year-old girl is suspected of selling mephedrone on a large scale

Officers of the drug control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, with the forceful support of the Grom special forces detachment of the UNK, detained a local resident suspected of drug trafficking — mephedrone on a large scale.
It was previously established that an 18-year-old unemployed girl, in order to make quick money, found an advertisement for a job as a pawnbroker in a popular messenger, contacted an anonymous administrator of an online drug store, and after discussing all the nuances of the upcoming work, observing conspiracy measures and paying for criminal labor, she agreed to cooperate. For several months, at the direction of an anonymous curator, she received batches of synthetic drugs, packaged them in single doses and sold them with the help of caches in the city’s forest areas. For each completed bookmark, she received from 250 to 350 rubles, depending on the implementation of the plan set for her by the administration of the underground drug market. For the successful sale of the prohibited goods, the girl attracted her 14-year-old friend, as well as other persons who are currently being identified by operatives.— announced the details of the case in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
The money obtained by criminal means was spent by the accomplices on rent, various purchases and entertainment.
During a search in a rented apartment, police drug control officers found and seized 17 bundles of “synthetics” prepared for sale, packaging material, high-precision electronic scales, as well as six mobile phones used to communicate with other participants in the criminal scheme.
In addition, 30 bundles with a powdered substance, which, according to the study, is the narcotic drug «mephedrone», were seized from the caches equipped by the layman.
A criminal case was initiated against an 18-year-old detainee under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of ten to twenty years in prison.
Currently, further operational-search activities and investigative actions are being carried out aimed at identifying all participants in this illegal activity, collecting evidence and establishing other circumstances of the crime committed.
