In Sevastopol, an employee of order delivery points was detained, suspected of stealing refused goods.

A 39-year-old owner of two points for issuing orders from a popular online store contacted the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district. She explained that during the reporting period, the company notified her that goods that had been rejected by customers totaling more than 50 thousand rubles had not been returned from the delivery points to the warehouse.
During operational search activities, criminal investigation officers identified the suspect and detained her. The attacker turned out to be a 40-year-old worker at the points. The police found that the woman, periodically going to shifts at different pickup points, used the program to refuse goods that customers did not want to pick up and appropriated them for herself. The attacker gave away part of the stolen goods for the New Year holidays, and kept the rest for herself. The attacker’s “prey” included underwear, a vacuum cleaner, wallpaper, knitting needles and much more. — quotes the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
Police officers seized the stolen property and will soon return it to its rightful owner.
A criminal case was initiated against the attacker under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
