In Sevastopol, police detained a local resident suspected of stealing car parts from a service station. Previously, the man was prosecuted for property crimes and intentional infliction of bodily harm.
The police found that a 26-year-old local resident noticed unattended car parts for a foreign car on the territory of a service station in the Leninsky district of the city and he had the intent to commit theft. Taking advantage of the absence of service station workers, he secretly stole metal products worth a total of 60 thousand rubles and disappeared. The attacker sold the stolen property and spent the money obtained through illegal means for his own needs.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The thief was detained. His involvement in the theft is confirmed by confessions and seized CCTV recordings.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”), he faces up to two years in prison.
