In Sevastopol, an illegal act by traffic inspectors was revealed. It's about a bribe

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As a result of a set of measures, employees of the Investigative Unit of the Security Service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol revealed the fact of an unlawful act committed by two police officers.

It has been preliminarily established that two employees of the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate received an illegal monetary reward from a local resident for not bringing them to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules. While carrying out their official duties, the employees established that the driver, driving a Nissan Pathfinder, collided with a Chevrolet Niva parked along the roadway, and then fled the scene of the accident. In order to avoid liability provided for by law for violating traffic rules, the offender transferred 50 thousand rubles as a bribe to traffic inspectors through an intermediary.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

Based on the materials collected by the investigators, a procedural decision was made.

If the guilt of the employees is confirmed, they will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished in accordance with the procedure established by law, and their managers will be subject to strict disciplinary liability.
