In Sevastopol, an investigation is being conducted into the poisoning of city residents with products from a confectionery store.

On behalf of the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Terentyev, a check of information from social networks about the poisoning of residents of Sevastopol was organized. The inspection is carried out under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological norms and rules).
It is reported that Rospotrebnadzor has registered several cases of acute intestinal infection in people who purchased cream products in the confectionery chain. Currently, the company’s activities are suspended.
As part of the inspection, the quality of the products sold, the availability of medical documentation and work permits for kitchen staff will be established, as well as, in general, compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the organization of public catering.
The progress of the investigation is under the control of the head of the Main Investigation Department.
