In Sevastopol, at the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, they summed up the results of the year and held a matinee for children
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Sevastopol branch of the state fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” summed up the results of the year. The head of the branch, Elena Anisimova, noted that during its operation — since June 1, 2023 — more than three thousand requests were received.
These include both personal and hotline calls. More than half of them already have positive solutions, the rest are in the works. Frequently asked questions include assistance in issuing certificates, receiving social support measures, medical support, providing psychological and legal assistance.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the branch.
Today, the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation employs 37 social coordinators. From the first day of work, specialists from relevant departments and organizations are also received here.
These are the exit windows of the MFC, specialists from the Social Fund, and the Employment Center. Lawyers and attorneys regularly receive clients under their care. The reception is also conducted by representatives of the prosecutor’s office, both civil and military. This also helps and speeds up the process of providing comprehensive assistance.notes Elena Anisimova.
The main task of the foundation today remains comprehensive support for veterans of special military operations and family members of fallen soldiers.
We try to find an individual approach to each ward, to each defender of the Fatherland. We support them in word and deed so that none of them is left without care and attentionnotes the head of the fund.
In addition, the foundation’s branch hosted a New Year’s party for the children of the deceased participants in the special military operation. A rich program was prepared for them with the participation of the main New Year’s characters — Father Frost and Snow Maiden. The children danced around a decorated Christmas tree, read poems, solved riddles and took part in competitions. The children were also given sweet gifts and tickets to the performance.
