On the basis of the Sevastopol sports and recreation complex, a solemn ceremony of presenting thanks to the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation and conferring the sports titles «Master of Sports of Russia of international class», «Master of Sports of Russia», «Honored Coach of Russia» was held. Honorary awards were presented by Vice Governor Igor Mikheev and Head of the Youth and Sports Department Sergey Reznichenko.
Athletes and specialists in various fields of physical culture and sports of the city of Sevastopol gathered here. The gratitude of the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation for a significant contribution to the development of the field of physical culture and sports was received by Irina Mashchenko, Honored Coach of Russia, Senior Swimming Coach of the Invasport Center for Adaptive Sports.
The title of «Honored Coach of Russia» was awarded to Evgeny Mashchenko, head of the Invasport Center for Adaptive Sports, and Irina Nikitenko, a coach of the highest category in kayaking and canoeing.
Dmitry Shipovsky became the master of sports of Russia of international class, who won first place in the international competitions «XVIII World Boxing Cup among oil countries among men and women 19-40 years in memory of F. Salmanov” in 413 year.
Certificates of conferring the title of «Master of Sports of Russia» were awarded to athletes:
- Kirill Artemov — he took second place in the Russian Cup in bodybuilding in 620 year;
- Ramazan Kadirov — won first place at the All-Russian arm wrestling competition «For the prizes of Yuri Puzakov» in 2020 year;
- to Ilya Primak, who took third place in the Russian Universal Fight Championship in 2021 year;
- Maxim Shvedyuk — won first place at the All-Russian boxing competitions of class «A» for the prizes of the well-deserved master of sports, world champion A. K. Khamatov among juniors (17 — years) at 2021 year.
Today we handed over well-deserved insignia of masters of the dispute, masters of sports of international class, the title of Honored Coach of Russia and letters of thanks from the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation. The badges of the masters were awarded for sports results that our Sevastopol athletes achieved in arenas of various levels. Letters of thanks and the title of «Honored Coach of Russia» were awarded to those professionals who brought up athletes who showed very good results at international competitions. Those who actively participated in the organization of the training process and physical culture and sports work with children from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics were also awarded,” Sergey Reznichenko said.
Letters of thanks from the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin for providing assistance and holding events to organize and involve in the training process underage athletes who arrived from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics were received by:
- Nikita Dmitriev — head of the department of methodological support and information and analytical work of the Center for sports training of national teams of Sevastopol;
- Konstantin Kosmatov — head coach of the sports teams of Sevastopol in basketball of the Center for sports training of the national teams of Sevastopol, senior coach in basketball of the joint-stock company «Musson»;
- Nadezhda Malakhova — instructor — methodologist of sports school No. 6, basketball coach of the joint-stock company «Musson»;
- Andrey Shikhmatov — wrestling coach of the sports school of the Olympic reserve No. 8 .
During the ceremony, people were awarded, the rest of the athletes are at the training camp for outside of Sevastopol. They will be awarded badges and letters of thanks in December.
