CrimeaPRESS reports:
Admission of children to the first grade for the 2023-2024 academic year will take place in two stages.
The first stage — from April 1 to June 30, applications will be accepted for children with priority or preferential enrollment in school, as well as for children living in the assigned territory. The second stage is from July 6 until the vacancies are filled, but no later than September 5. This applies to children who do not live in the assigned territory. During this stage, you can apply to any school where there are vacancies., — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol and. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos.
Information about the territories assigned to schools, as well as a list of required documents, are posted on the websites of the Department of Education and Science, educational institutions of the city, as well as on the public services portal.
For children, the preferential enrollment right is the education of siblings or half-siblings in the chosen school. Also, children of police officers and military personnel have priority when enrolling in the first class., says i. O. director of the relevant department.
A parent or legal representative can apply for enrollment of a child in the first grade in three ways: in person at school, by registered mail with notification or through the public services portal — in this case, it will be possible to track the status of the application.
An order for enrollment in a school is issued within three working days after the completion of the first stage of receiving documents, that is, from July 1 to July 5. If you apply in the second stage, a decision will be made within five working days.
Taking into account the fact that the reception opened on April 1, on Saturday, 1,219 applications were submitted only through the public services portal at 8 am on April 3. This is already 300 more than for the entire last year received in electronic form. The filing time is completely different — this indicates that the public services portal allows parents to apply at any convenient time— notes Maxim Krivonos.
In total, 7,000 first-graders are expected to enter the city’s schools this year — this is a forecast, taking into account the number of kindergarten graduates and a small percentage of migration.
