In Sevastopol, by the end of the year, Gorsvet plans to complete work on 79 sites

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, the installation of street lighting continues. On the territory of Krasnaya Gorka, Gorsvet specialists are now installing new outdoor lighting facilities at seven addresses: Yuzhnaya, Oranzhereynaya, Tsygankova, Tsvetochnaya, Volzhskaya, Malyarnaya, and Drachuka streets.

Work on Delegatskaya Street has already been completed. Here, specialists replaced 38 outdated outdoor lighting facilities with new generation lamps that consume half as much electricity. Also, new networks with a length of 1 km were laid on the street with self-supporting insulated wire, which has great mechanical strength, which minimizes the possibility of its breakage.

Previously, outdoor lighting in this area was represented by outdated SPO lamps with mercury lamps, as well as lamps with sodium lamps. The external lighting line was made with bare, uninsulated wire, which significantly affected the quality of the services provided. On the streets of Yuzhnaya, Oranzhereynaya, Tsygankova, Tsvetochnaya, Volzhskaya, Malyarnaya, Drachuk, work is already at the final stage. According to the plan, these sites include the installation of 49 LED lamps and about 1 km of outdoor lighting line.

The comfort and safety of the city is largely determined by an effective street lighting system. In total, by the end of this year, Gorsvet plans to complete construction and installation work at 79 sites. To date, we have already exceeded the plan for the increase in new light points due to the commissioning of new facilities as part of the resulting budget savings. The plan by the end of the year was 3,000 units. The target has already been achieved by more than 100%. As of the current date, Gorsvet serves 44,848 light points. At the beginning of the year this figure was 41,012 units— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Gorsvet enterprise, Alexander Lavrichenko.

Earlier, in April of this year, work was already completed on the territory of Krasnaya Gorka to install new outdoor lighting facilities at 19 addresses. Among them are the streets Dneprovskaya, Mirnaya, Kaspiyskaya, Stanyukovicha, Kavkazskaya, Tamanskaya, Liteinaya, Slesarnaya, Kuznechnaya, Zelenaya, Konduktorskaya, Okhotskaya, Kharchenko, Letnyaya, Tenistaya, Tankistov, Donskaya, Kubanskaya, Artillery Drive, including on the stairs from school no. 18 to Krasnaya Gorka. As part of this stage of work, 265 new LED lamps, 30 supports and more than 6 km of outdoor lighting lines were installed. Also, a new cabinet for an automated outdoor lighting control system was installed on the territory of Krasnaya Gorka.

The scope of work completed made it possible to comprehensively update outdoor lighting facilities and create comfortable, safe living conditions for residents of the microdistrict.

In addition, as of today, work has also been completed on equipping the territories of individual residential construction on the North side on the streets of Gollandskie, Ravelinnye, Tsiolkovskogo (yards), and Nadezhda Kraevaya Street with external lighting. New outdoor lighting objects also appeared in the courtyards on Pobedy Avenue, Gorpishchenko, Zhidilova, and Artdivizionovskaya streets.

By the end of the year, it is planned to carry out work on the streets of Vladimir Shevalev, Boris Sheinin, Vasily Kolodkin, Plastunskaya, 1st Line Bombor, Kombata Ishchenko, Gegeshidze and Kombata Krasnikov, Prichalnaya, Plyazhnaya, Sinopskaya and others.
