For reference:

On a May day, 13-year-old Sabina Umerova was walking with her peer Anastasia in a park area in the village of Ternovka. During a walk, an unknown man approached the girls, who first began to communicate with them on abstract topics, and then suddenly began to take actions of a sexual nature towards the minor Nastya. To successfully implement his criminal intent, the stranger offered to buy the girls things and food.

Realizing that the man could commit a crime against her friend, Sabina suggested that she leave the park immediately. However, the attacker prevented this and continued sexual assault against the girl. Without thinking, Sabina pushed the grown man away and helped her friend leave the park. Having reached the nearest house, the fearless girl reported the incident to the police. Together with the arriving police, Sabina went on a search and unmistakably pointed to the man who tried to rape her friend.

A 41-year-old visitor was detained and confessed to his crime. The man was charged under Part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violent acts of a sexual nature committed against a person under fourteen years of age.” Currently, the materials of the criminal case have been transferred to the court for consideration.

On a June day in Yalta, 9-year-old Valera Moroz discovered in the apartment where he lived a stranger who secretly entered the home with the aim of committing theft. Having witnessed the crime, the brave boy was not afraid, but demanded that the man stop his illegal activities.

In response, the attacker hit the child and continued his criminal business. Overcoming the pain and despite the robber’s multiple superiority in strength, Valera continued one after another attempts to detain him. The children’s cries for help were heard by the boy’s neighbor, who managed to take away the stolen property from the robber at the exit from the entrance before he disappeared.

As a result of operational search activities, police officers detained a man, whom the boy immediately recognized as the uninvited guest. A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”.

In April, 11-year-old Yura Naumenko, while walking near a park in the village of Khmelnitskoye, witnessed a fight between two men. One of them, a random passer-by, intervened in a family quarrel, and himself became a participant in the conflict. The enraged head of the family beat the man and then fled in his car, confident that the crime he had committed would go unpunished.

Realizing that he had become an eyewitness to a crime, the boy managed to write down the license plate number of the attacker’s car and reported the incident to the police. Thanks to his attentiveness, a suspect of committing a crime under Art. 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health,” was promptly detained.
