In Sevastopol, compensation will be paid to citizens affected by shelling

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At a meeting of the government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, issues of payment of compensation for property and vehicles damaged as a result of recent rocket fire by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were discussed.

According to the Department of Public Safety, to date, 289 complaints have been received from city residents: 216 of them relate to real estate and 73 to cars. The damage assessment commission reviewed 63 materials. During the meeting, a resolution was adopted to allocate funds to pay financial assistance to Sevastopol residents. The amount of payments is individual and depends on the nature and extent of damage. Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population to make payments in the near future.

As the head of the city emphasized, in relation to the damaged cars, a decision was made to pay the amount of damage in full.

As for compensation for damaged cars, it was decided that the amount of damage to the victims would be paid in full. The Department of Transport, with the help of specialized organizations, analyzes the market value of damage to vehicles affected by shelling, draws up a report, and within 20 days the documents are sent to the commission to determine the amount of financial assistance, which makes the final decision, — said the head of the city.

The consideration of applications is currently ongoing. Anyone who has not yet submitted an application can contact the local administration of the intra-city municipality at the location where the property was damaged. The application can be submitted in writing, during a personal visit to the administration, sent by mail or by contacting the administration telephone numbers. Contact information and addresses of applicants received through System-112 are also transferred to the relevant administration for work. You can contact the municipal commission within 6 months from the date of damage to real estate, and in the case of cars — within 30 days from the date of damage.

Payments are made by the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population from the reserve fund of the Sevastopol government.
