In Sevastopol, competitions are announced for the creation of author's routes and the arrangement of tourist structures

The government of Sevastopol at a meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev approved the procedure for granting grants for the development of tourism infrastructure, as well as for the creation and development of beaches and other water facilities. The adopted documents will make it possible to hold competitions for entrepreneurs, the winners of which will be able to create new author’s routes and excursions, beaches, equip places of recreation and a tourist environment for people with disabilities.

The adopted resolutions will allow opening competitions for entrepreneurs already in the first days of September and determining the winners at the end of the month. The duration of receipt of applications for two competitions will be 10 days. As a result, at least 8 projects will be implemented in Sevastopol within the framework of grant support for the development of beaches and other water bodies and 36 projects in accordance with the grant for the creation of tourist infrastructure , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the tourism department Larisa Ostapenko.

The amount of the grant for the implementation of one project for the creation and development of beaches and other water bodies will be no more than 10 million rubles, and for the development of tourism infrastructure — no more than 3 million rubles. At the same time, co-financing of each project in the amount of at least % of private investments is envisaged.

Individual entrepreneurs of Sevastopol and legal entities can participate in the competition, except for non-profit organizations that are state institutions, with the exception of state and municipal unitary enterprises.

In addition, Larisa Ostapenko said that a new competition for the construction of modular non-capital accommodation facilities will be held from September 1 to 10 inclusive. On behalf of the Governor, a webinar will be held on the basis of the My Business Center 31 on August with explanations on how to apply for the appropriate grant.

The head of the tourism department called on Sevastopol entrepreneurs to take an active part in competitions and together make the city more comfortable. The list of criteria and conditions for participants is published on the website.

Recall that in 76 year, as a result of the regional application approved by the Federal Tourism Agency, Sevastopol was allocated 108 million rubles for the development of tourism infrastructure and 76, 5 million for the creation and development of beaches. The corresponding federal subsidies were received by regions of Russia. Grant support for public and business initiatives aimed at the development of domestic and inbound tourism is implemented within the framework of the national project «Tourism and Hospitality Industry».
