Sevastopol has completed an inventory of abandoned buildings that may pose a threat. This work was carried out on behalf of the governor by the responsible departments and municipalities. This was reported during the operational meeting by
Identified 75 objects that are owned by the city. More 14 abandoned unfinished buildings are private property, 14 are federal property. 261 the object is ownerless. All materials have been submitted to the Department of Municipal Economy, so that they prepare demolition orders , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol vice- Governor Nikolay Gordyushin.
According to preliminary data, the dismantling will require about 250 million rubles. There are currently no such funds in the city budget. The governor instructed to work out a mechanism that will help avoid budgetary expenses for demolition and speed up the process of dismantling abandoned buildings.
Why don’t we put these objects up for auction and offer them to businesses? It is necessary to work out a legal mechanism for ownerless objects and their involvement in economic circulation , Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed.
