Social security officials congratulated the 3,000th recipient of regional maternity capital in Sevastopol. This is Lilia Dudka, mother of two girls — Sofia and Anna. This is an additional measure of social support, which is provided along with the federal capital and monthly cash payments to families with children. Mothers who have lived in Sevastopol for at least one year have the right to regional materiel. The second child must also be at least one year old on the application date. The criterion of need for this payment is 2.5 living wages per person— Elena Silaeva notes.

According to her, at the end of last year, the conditions for providing payments improved significantly. Now it is enough to submit one application, and the employees of the social security authorities will request all the necessary information on their own as part of interdepartmental interaction.

It is most convenient to submit an application remotely through the public services portal. They are also accepted at the district departments of labor and social protection, as well as at any convenient branch of the MFCsays the head of the department.

Regional matkapital is indexed annually. This year, the amount of the payment has increased by 14.5% and now amounts to 128,066 rubles. In this amount, families who applied with an application from February 1 of the current year will receive it.

Recall that a one-time cash payment for a second child is provided within the framework of the regional project «Financial support for families at the birth of children» of the national project «Demography». For these purposes, the city budget for 2023 provides for more than 166 million rubles.
