Addressing workers and industry veterans, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev emphasized that agriculture in the city is represented primarily by the grape and wine industry, and the climatic and topographic features of the territory of the Sevastopol region make it possible to obtain a wide range of high-quality wines. Also in Sevastopol, such industries as livestock farming, beekeeping, vegetable growing, fruit growing, food processing industry, fishing and fish farming are developing.

The Sevastopol land has always been famous for the people who work on the land. Who grow vines, who create the unique atmosphere of the place, starting from ancient Chersonesos, people have always worked here on the land and created a wonderful product. Actually, this is probably the meaning of life. You know, I looked at the statistics: if in 2017 the average number of workers employed in agriculture, fishing and fish farming, food and beverage production in Sevastopol was about 2.5 thousand people, then in 2023 this number increased to 3, 6 thousand.
