The school week in all schools and colleges in Russia began with an extracurricular lesson “Talking about important things.” The theme “Heroes of Our Time” is dedicated to the holiday that took place on December 9 — the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland. Andrei Pavlov, deputy chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood,” spoke with students of Sevastopol school No. 41.

Heroes of the Fatherland Day is one of the most important holidays in the history of our country. Currently, participants in a special military operation, like our ancestors, are performing heroic deeds, fighting for our Motherland, and ensuring the security of our country. This is important to know and remember. Students were introduced to examples of heroic deeds by completely different people, committed at different times under different circumstances. Impressed by the stories of the heroes, the guys said that there were real heroes in their families and surroundings, who, in particular, were participating in a special military operation.

I am filled with a sense of pride that there are so many people in our country who are now fighting on the front line and also working in the rear.
