The Office for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Sevastopol announces two additional days of receiving documents for staging a stamp on the back of a child’s birth certificate.

The requirement to have a stamp confirming citizenship in the birth certificate of a child upon admission to the first grade became necessary this year in connection with amendments to the Law “On Education in the Russian Federation” No. 273 — Federal Law and the Order of the Ministry of Education of Russia dated 02.09.2020 N 458.

Having received several appeals from parents that there were difficulties in staging a birth certificate, we turned to colleagues from the Ministry of the Interior and developed a single approach, how to provide parents with a comfortable opportunity to put a note in the birth certificate, ”said Maxim Krivonos, director of the Department of Education and Science.

Units on migration and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Sevastopol made a decision — citizens who have already received preliminary records will receive the service at the appointed time.

In addition, two days have been added — this is an environment and Saturday, when parents can put stamps in the birth certificates of children. The legal representative of a minor citizen can be addressed to us: mom, either dad, or guardian. It is necessary to have the following package of documents with you: an identity passport, a child’s birth certificate, if possible and has a passport of a second parent and if a photocopy of these documents is possible,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as deputy head of the Department of Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol Dmitry Voronov.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the migration units on Parshina Street, 29 from 9:00 to 18:00 will work exclusively for the provision of this service.

The Department of Education explains: if the application to the first grade is submitted through the public services portal, but there is no birth certificate in the birth certificate that confirms the citizenship of the Russian Federation, the application for public services will go to the next status (by consideration), parents will be invited with the originals of the documents to the school, and at this moment the stamp should be put. All parents still have time. Parents have the right to come to school to confirm documents until 06/30/2025. Even if parents bring documents on the last day — 06/30/2025, the child will definitely be enrolled in the school by registration.
