In Sevastopol, employees of the Russian Guard rescued vacationers caught in a storm

Riot police officers «Berkut» rescued vacationers in the Black Sea who were caught in a storm on a floating craft.
During their free time from duty, special forces officers, while on one of the city beaches, noticed how a man and a woman capsized on a floating craft and could not get out of the water on their own. By then the weather had worsened and the waves were rising. The vacationers began to show the first signs of panic. The Russian Guard immediately provided assistance and took them to a safe area of land located 40 meters from the shore,” the department’s press service announced the details of the incident.
Citizens were greatly frightened and showed signs of hypothermia. The Russian Guard called the Ministry of Emergency Situations for further evacuation to the shore and provision of necessary assistance.
