In Sevastopol, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, together with specialists from the regional Federal Penitentiary Service, organized a joint event to prevent offenses and crimes in the field of traffic.
Traffic inspectors conducted a lesson with persons sentenced to punishment without isolation from society for crimes against traffic safety and transport operation. During the conversation, the listeners were given information about the state of accidents, including those involving minors, and pointed out the main traffic violations committed by drivers and pedestrians. The event examined the most high-profile accidents that occurred due to the fault of drunk driverssaid the traffic police.
Natalya Vasilyeva, head of the department of organizational and analytical work and promotion of traffic police of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, informed the meeting participants about criminal and administrative liability for driving a vehicle while intoxicated and warned about conducting regular preventive “Drunk Driver” raids.
