In Sevastopol, forecasts for the holiday season-2025 were voiced

According to forecasts, the summer tourist season this year will become one of the most successful. Already in May, the tourist flow amounted to 69.4 thousand people, which is 64% more than in the same period last year. Over the first quarter of the year, excursion programs visited 722.1 thousand people, and the loading of collective accommodation facilities reached 71.6%. It is expected that in summer this figure will exceed 80%,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, head of the tourism department, Maria Vetlitskaya.

To date, in the register of collective means of placing the city, 202 enterprises with a license plate of 7,250 units and 28,000 beds are registered. Of these, 77 accommodation facilities were classified, which confirms their compliance with quality standards. In Sevastopol, 20 tour operators and 75 travel agencies are successfully working, offering about 100 various excursion programs that can satisfy any interest. For the convenience of navigation of tourists, 17 new tourist navigation signs were installed and information shields were updated.

Cultural leisure in the city is provided by 33 museums, including two federal ones, and 1,650 cultural heritage sites. Especially popular among guests are the ancient and new Chersonesos, which only in the first quarter of this year visited 515.4 thousand people. For the summer, large -scale events are planned here, such as Griffin, Tauride Voyage and Summer evening in Chersonesus.

As part of the development of enogastronomic tourism in the city, the Terruar Sevastopol project, including the “Vinno Road” with a length of 120 km, is successfully implemented.

The “Big Sevastopol Trail” is also popular among the city guests, about 100 thousand people visit it annually, offering opportunities for outdoor activities.

For the convenience of guests and residents of the city, four stationary and one mobile tourist and information center (TIC) work. Since May, a new TIC has been opened in the Victory Park, and from April — in Laspi, along the route «Bolshaya Sevastopol Trail». Over the past year, the centers were provided by 64,470 consultations, and in the first months of 2024 — already 18 192, demonstrating high demand for information support.

Those who wish can also use the tourist portal “My Sevastopol”, where information is presented about the 104 routes of the city and about 411 attractions.

Activists of the governor’s school labor detachments help in museums of the city, such as the Mikhailovskaya battery, conduct survey among tourists and act as consultants in city tourist information centers. In addition, schoolchildren contribute to the improvement, participating in cleaning the Big Sevastopol path.

In connection with the expected influx of tourists and the limited parking spaces in the New Chersonesos area, the governor instructed to work out the issue of launching regular shawls.

Maria Vetlitskaya reported that all guides are certified, regardless of whether they will work as self-employed or in any company. After the guides passed certification, their activities are controlled in order to pay special attention to the implemented professional skills.

Recall that from September 1 of this year, regional state control over compliance with tourism requirements will enter into force in the city. An important step was the adoption and signing of the law on guest houses at the federal level. The Government of Sevastopol is actively preparing for its implementation: the necessary draft regional law is already ready.
