In Sevastopol, four pensioners parted with their savings, having complied with the instructions of distance fraudsters
Krympress reports:
The four Sevastopol pensioners were called by attackers, introduced themselves to the «military prosecutor’s office and the FSB» and abducted almost 2 million rubles from them.
Allegedly, for urgent protection of a bank account, scammers convinced the 77-year-old woman to go to an ATM and transfer almost 1.2 million to dictated accounts. The crooks reported that two elderly women and a man have reported that their savings can be used to finance terrorism, so the money should be transferred for a thorough verification. Similarly, having complied with all the instructions of the criminals, pensioners gathered at home all cash, a total of 750 thousand rubles, and handed over to the courier of scammers,-noted in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
Sevastopol residents, warn your elderly relatives: such calls come from scammers supervised by Ukrainian intelligence services!
