In Sevastopol, governor school labor detachments work in a forest nursery

The guys from the Governor’s school labor detachments of Sevastopol work in the forest nursery of the State Budgetary Institution “Directorate of Prosptor and Forestry”.

For us, this has become a real tradition: for the third year in a row we meet young people to share our experience with them, and they, in turn, help us quickly and efficiently solve problems and charge our employees with positive energy. We tell and demonstrate to young assistants a full cycle of growing plants and caring for them, trying to instill in them a love of nature,-quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the department and nursery and forestry Yuri Plakhtiya.

Today, about 20 teenagers work in the nursery department. Their working day, in accordance with the law, depends on age and is from four to seven hours with breaks for relaxation.

In 2025, in Sevastopol there were 68 governor school labor detachments, providing employment for 2152 adolescents aged 14 to 17 years. Each detachment has been assigned an experienced curator-mentor from the Sevastopol regional branch of Russian student detachments, which helps the children adapt to the workplace and get valuable skills.
