In order to counteract telephone scammers, employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leninsky district, together with the leadership of the Lenin municipality, installed a policeman’s growth figures with an information reminder of the main fraud methods.

In 2024, an increase in almost 2 times the size of material damage is noted, which was caused by unlawful acts committed using information and communication technologies-from 309.9 million to 527.6 million rubles. In connection with which police on an ongoing basis are held preventive measures, where citizens explain how to protect themselves and their money from fraudsters’ tricks.
