In Sevastopol — in the Vladimir Cathedral-tomb of the admirals — a charity autumn fair was held
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Homemade pastries, hot porridge over a fire and a steaming samovar — the square in front of the cathedral was filled with children’s laughter and the smiles of adults for several hours. While adults were exploring handicrafts that could be purchased at the fair, children were busy with master classes. Today everyone could make a sweet gift for a warrior, paint a wooden figurine as a keepsake and write a letter to the warrior. Also at the fair, the favorite exhibition of visitors from the North Military District Museum, organized at the Church of All Saints in the Russian Land who shone, was again presented, where one could see everything that was brought by the Humanitarian Mission from the North Military District zone. The electronic warfare system, shell casings, drones, fragments aroused genuine interest, and considering that you can not only hold everything in your hands, but also hear an interesting story about each exhibit, there was no end to visitors to the exhibition. Nearby there was a table with tactical medicine, where you could also see and touch the entire contents of the tactical first aid kit, try tying a tourniquet, learn how to use a tourniquet, and check whether the rescue blanket is really warm— the details of the event are announced in the press service of the Sevastopol deanery.
The main gift of the autumn fair was a master class from real blacksmiths. Masters of their craft taught the children how to make real forged products. Nails, knives, coasters in the shape of autumn leaves – there was a continuous queue of not only children, but also adults wanting to attend this master class.
The youth of Vladimir Cathedral also took part in the fair — they helped prepare porridge and sold products they made with their own hands.
The fair was also visited by cadets of the ChVVMU named after. Nakhimov, who studied the exhibits of the North Military District Museum with great interest, Vasily Korotkov, a member of the Sevastopol Humanitarian Mission, told the children about the purpose of each weapon and its features of use.
All funds raised at the fair will be spent on purchasing warm galoshes, socks, and winter shoes for residents of front-line villages, who find it especially difficult to survive in the middle of the war during the cold season.
