This slowed down the decline in prices for potatoes, beets, carrots and fresh herbs. At the same time, onion has risen in price in annual terms, the regulator notes.
In addition, after the closure of air traffic with airports in southern Russia, the load on road and rail transport on the Crimean Peninsula has increased significantly. This reduced the supply and, accordingly, accelerated the rise in prices for imported products, for example, for apples.
Measures to support the livestock industry in the main supplier regions contributed to an increase in the production of eggs and most types of meat products, which slowed down the growth in prices for meat and semi-finished products and reduced the cost of eggs in annual terms , says the press release.
Machinery, fuel and timber.
According to the Central Bank, the annual rate of rise in furniture prices has decreased, prices for boards have decreased — against the backdrop of existing restrictions on the export of timber and wood products, their supply on the domestic market has increased.
