In Sevastopol, it will be possible to receive money in exchange for a free land plot
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol, a bill was adopted according to which participants in a special military operation and family members of deceased (dead) participants in a special military operation, as well as other categories of citizens entitled to receive a land plot for free ownership, may receive a one-time monetary compensation in exchange for the said land plot. The document was submitted to the Legislative Assembly by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev together with a group of deputies of the Legislative Assembly.
We have already discussed the issue of providing an alternative to the allocated land plot more than once at meetings with the families of military personnel and during live broadcasts on the STV channel. Many of those with whom I spoke wanted to have the opportunity to choose between a plot and money. Now this opportunity can be used by participants in a special military operation, family members of fallen (dead) participants in a special military operation and other categories of citizens who have the right to be provided with a land plot for free ownership.“Oh,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The amount of compensation will be 1 million rubles. If the payment is received by a large family, this amount will be equally distributed among all members of such a family. Monetary compensation will be provided in the same order as land plots.
The citizen will be provided with a notification similar to how it happens with receiving a land plot — DIZO sends a notification about the possibility of providing such compensation and receives a response from the citizen about consent or disagreement. If he does not agree to receive compensation, he remains in the queue to receive a land plot. The order is exactly the same as for receiving a land plot. An additional queue will not be established— emphasizes the governor’s representative in the Legislative Assembly, Vita Romaniv.
Currently, the city budget has reserved an amount of 100 million rubles — this will allow sending a notification about the possibility of receiving compensation to the first 100 citizens (including SVO participants and their family members) who are in line to receive a land plot for free ownership.
Support measures for SVO participants are under constant control of Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. At the next meeting of the Sevastopol Government, it is planned to approve the next documentation on the territory planning, after which land plots will be allocated for provision to SVO participants, — Vita Romaniv reported.
In addition, the draft law provides for changes to the legislation of the city of Sevastopol, according to which minor children of deceased (passed away) participants of the SVO are granted the right to register land plots as their property free of charge or to receive a one-time monetary compensation payment in exchange for the said land plots based on applications from their legal representatives in accordance with the procedure established by law. Previously, such an opportunity did not exist.
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol adopted the bill in two readings.
