In Sevastopol, monuments of the Great Patriotic War and their territory are put in order

The known defensive structures of the second defense of Sevastopol include DOT No. 31. It was built in August — October 1941 and had one cannon. Dot No. 31 was a member of the 1st battalion Dotov and was in the 1st sector of the defense of Sevastopol. In the battles for the city of Dot No. 31, he participated until the end of June 1942. Fierce battles unfolded in this area on June 30, 1942. Dota defenders more than once passed into bayonet attacks, but the forces were inequal. Those who survived moved in the area of ​​the 35th battery at Cape Chersonesos and fulfilled their military duty to the end. The total height of the defensive structure is 2.65 meters. Dota wall thickness 40-50 cm, and the thickness of its ceilings is over 60 cm.

Now the object of cultural heritage is being prepared for whitewashing, they are engaged in cleaning the surrounding area.
