Since the beginning of 2023, more than a thousand Sevastopol families have received regional maternity capital totaling 125 million 842 thousand rubles. The payment is provided under the national project “Demography” within the framework of the regional project “Financial support for families at the birth of children.”
According to the deputy head of the social security department of the department of labor and social protection of the population, Evgenia Pytko, in Sevastopol regional maternity capital is provided for the second child born in 2019. The family can spend the money for any needs and purposes at their discretion. The amount of maternity capital is indexed annually. This year the payment amount is 128,066 rubles.
Citizens of the Russian Federation who have lived in the city for at least one year and have an average per capita family income below two and a half subsistence minimums have the right to receive maternity capital. The application period is not limited; you can apply for benefits until the child reaches adulthood.– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Evgenia Pytko.
There are three ways to submit your application:
- through the government services portal;
- in MFC branches;
- at regional social security offices.

The program is aimed at creating favorable conditions for family life, the birth of children, and minimizing the consequences of changes in the financial situation of citizens in connection with the birth of children.
Earlier in Sevastopol, the four thousandth recipient of regional maternity capital was congratulated. This was Tatyana Lipovskaya, mother of two girls – Angelina and Valeria.
