In Sevastopol, new institutions and attracting doctors will help to improve the quality of medical care
Krympress reports:
In the conversation, Razvozhaev said that according to the results of 2024, the expectation of life in Sevastopol reached 75 years, and this is one of the best indicators in the country. The president, in response to this, noted that life expectancy in Sevastopol should grow not only thanks to a favorable climate, but also due to the effective operation of the healthcare system. And he pointed to him that the capacity of outpatient institutions in the city for 10 thousand people is almost half as much as the number of visits than on average in the country. He instructed to deal with this issue along with federal authorities.
Of course, it does not excuse us, but explains this situation — it was the situation with the sharp increase in the population of the city (previously Razvozhaev reported that since 2014, the number of residents has doubled, including due to a large number of visitors — approx. TASS). The system that was created in Soviet times was much more compact. Now in a short time it was necessary to create a large number of new institutions. With your support and within the framework of the State Program for the Development of Crimea and Sevastopol, we provide for these objects— quotes TASS Governor.
He cited as an example that, at present, thanks to the national project, a clinic is being built for 400 visits per shift. The construction of a medical cluster is underway — an ambulance hospital with clinic. Also, after the introduction of Medklaster, where, as previously reported, there will also be an onco center, the authorities expect to re -profile part of the space, now employed by institutions that provide assistance in these areas. And in the near future, other objects are planned.
This is a joint program with the Ministry of Health [РФ]. The minister came personally, we all discussed in detail how to overcome this really existing shortage. It is clear that there are not enough resources at once, however, this is our key priority, and this problem really exists in the city. We will, Vladimir Vladimirovich, intensively decide it in the next three -year -old due to the introduction of new objects— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to him, in only five years, 23 health facilities have been built, while 118 out of 120 medical facilities of the region have already been licensed according to Russian standards. It is planned to fully complete the work by July 1 of this year.
Attracting doctors
The head of Sevastopol also said that active work was underway to eliminate the shortage of medical personnel. According to TASS in the city department of health, the deficiency of medical personnel as of September 1, 2024 was 75.3%. To date, district pediatricians and therapists, general practitioners (family doctors), anesthesiologists-resuscitators and hematologists are especially in demand in the region.
Dravozhaev in a conversation with the president emphasized that it is impossible to quickly solve the problem.
We solve it in several directions. The Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Health Territory created at our Sevastopol State University, annually we accept 50 students there at the expense of the city budget. In the Zhenya Deryugina Medical College, we prepare targets — this is the average medical and younger staff, last year 124 medical sisters and paramedic were released for the tasks of healthcare of the city— he specified.
Pravozhaev added that doctors from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation are also involved. Including, according to the city program, which provides for 1 million rubles as lifting funds for doctors who moved to Sevastopol. In five years, 146 doctors managed to attract to the region.
Of course, housing remains the main problem. Within the framework of the design of the integrated development of territories launched since last year, we sign agreements with developers: according to the results [строительства микрорайонов] They will transfer apartments to the city. <...> We will use these apartments as a service fund in order to provide state employees in healthcare, education, culture, in other areas where we have a certain deficit— says the governor.
