In Sevastopol, of course, the grass is mowed, but inefficiently — the opinion of the governor

CrimeaPRESS reports:

During the operational meeting, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, instructed the director of the department of urban economy, Yevgeny Gorlov, to use all available mechanisms for mowing the grass growing along the roadsides.

We need effective solutions! If you terminate contracts with unscrupulous performers, this should not affect the result. It is necessary to consider the proposal of the heads of municipalities on the creation of the State Budgetary Institution , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

According to the City Department, all municipalities have now signed grass cutting contracts. However, not all performers fulfill their obligations in a timely manner. At present, the total area of the territories of municipalities where mowing has been carried out is 11 129

, 2 m². Additionally, within the framework of control measures, orders were issued to bring the territories under the jurisdiction of WMO into proper shape in terms of mowing.

In addition, at the operational meeting, the issue of measures to combat the American butterfly was raised. Evgeniy Gorlov, director of the Department of Municipal Economy, reported that at the moment contracts have been concluded for the processing of trees on which caterpillars have already started.

Processing starts when insects have already appeared. It turns out that the work is already de facto. Why is a butterfly agreement concluded when cases appear? There should be preventive treatment , — Mikhail Razvozhaev notes.

The governor of Sevastopol instructed the director of the department of urban economy Yevgeny Gorlov to provide economic calculations for the preventive treatment of trees.
