Representatives of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure and activists of the All-Russian Popular Front inspected the progress of the repair of the highway on Modlinskaya Street. This is the object of the national project «Safe Quality Roads». It is not the first year that we have been cooperating with public organizations and active citizens, and it is worth noting that this is bearing fruit.
Safe High-Quality Roads” is a joint work of road industry professionals on the one hand and caring citizens and public controllers on the other— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure Alexander Shiryaev.
At a 305 m long facility, the contractor completed the construction of the pavement base, the leveling layer of the asphalt concrete pavement, the top layer of the pavement will soon be laid and the landscaping will be completed.
I want to say that we have really grown in road construction. Works are carried out not only on the central streets, but also in the private sector. We are making good strides, and Sevastopol has changed markedly in recent years. The quality control procedure is carried out at all technological stages — from the production of asphalt to its laying on the road. The roadworks season in Sevastopol lasts all year round, and we closely monitor the quality of the repaired roads— commented the head of the project «Road Inspectorate of the ONF / Map of Killed Roads» in Sevastopol Maxim Serdyuk.
Recall that in 2023, according to the national project, 51.4 km of roads will be repaired in Sevastopol.
