In Sevastopol, on Constitution Day, passports were handed over to young citizens and families from the LPR

The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, together with the head of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Major General Pavel Gishchenko, presented passports of citizens of the Russian Federation to young Sevastopol residents and families from the LPR. The solemn ceremony took place on Constitution Day.

Today is indeed a very important public holiday — the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Two years ago, we adopted amendments to our Constitution. Our country answered the question of what Russia is and why we have our own way, what values ​​we have and what values ​​we will always have. We have secured that we have our own path of development, and we have faith in the values ​​of our country. Dear participants of today’s ceremony, you receive your passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation in the Hero City of Sevastopol, and I think this is symbolic, because for Russia our Hero City is an eternal symbol of courage, pride, an eternal symbol that Russia has been and will be great country. Passports were received by cadets of the internal affairs bodies, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Sevastopol Presidential Cadet School, as well as a family that arrived in Sevastopol from the Lugansk People’s Republic.

Today, our country celebrates an important public holiday — the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Pavel Gishchenko noted that in November alone, more than 1 39 citizens of the Russian Federation living in the territory of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions applied to Sevastopol to obtain Russian passports.
