The governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev held a working meeting on August 7 at the Sevastopol Architectural and Construction College. Since this year, Sevastopol has been participating in the federal project «Professor», which involves the training of personnel in the STR system for further employment in the leading companies of the region. On the basis of two institutions of secondary vocational education-the Sevastopol College of Information Technologies and Industry and the Sevastopol Architectural and Construction College-transport and construction clusters, respectively. The creation of a construction cluster is scheduled for the next year. The preparation of the material and technical base has already begun, said Mikhail Razvozhaev.
In the near future, the college will be transformed. Already this year we will begin to repair the workshops — for this we allocated money from the city budget. Under the terms of the Professor program, funds from the professional community of the construction complex will be attracted. So far, these are small volumes, but this is only the beginning. In the future, we plan to purchase construction equipment at the expense of the federal budget. There are already plans to purchase a 3D printer for printing elements of construction. The educational and production complex is being revived, so the technical school has great prospects. I am sure that the observation council will have all the major developers of Sevastopol. They will be able to determine the personnel policy, say what kind of modern specialists in the field of construction they need. Within the framework of the “professional” since this year, the Sevastopol Architectural and Civil Engineering opens new specialties in areas: the production of non-metallic construction products and structures, water supply and sanitation, information modeling in construction, heat supply and heating equipment; Additative technologies and applied geodesy.
