The Department of Public Safety conducted a lesson with city beach operators on the topic: “Ensuring the safety of people on water bodies.” The lesson was held on the basis of the Aquamarine resort complex, and was attended by representatives of the state inspection center for small vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, the department of municipal services, the department of education and science, the rescue service of Sevastopol, intra-city municipalities, the Sevastopol regional organization of the All-Russian Rescue Society on the waters and more than 20 beach operators.
Specialists of the Sevastopol rescue service reminded that each post must be equipped with the necessary rescue equipment and first aid supplies. Beach operators were clearly shown how to rescue a victim and transport him from the water, and a rescue service doctor explained the procedure for providing first aid.– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Director of the Department of Public Security Vladimir Bespaly.
Taking into account the current situation in the city of Sevastopol, the Department of Public Safety developed and handed over to beach operators for posting a memo on the procedure for the population when announcing the signals “Attention everyone!”, “Air raid alert!”, as well as a list of places for possible shelter for residents in the city’s beach areas.
Also, during the instructional and methodological training, beach operators were introduced to the basic requirements of the current regulatory legal acts regulating the safety of people on water bodies, the instructions of the commission for the prevention and response of emergencies on the organization of work and measures to prevent the death of people during the 2024 swimming season and a plan of measures to ensure the safety of people at water bodies during the preparation and implementation of the 2024 swimming season.
