In Sevastopol opened a sports and recreation complex of the cadet corps of the IC of Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The opening ceremony of the sports and recreation complex of the cadet corps of the Russian Investigative Committee was attended by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the head of the educational work department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Major General of Justice, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Petrov, the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, General Major of Justice Vladimir Terentiev, Ombudsman for Children in Sevastopol Marina Peschanskaya, heads of law enforcement agencies and other invited guests.
Today is the last part of the second stage — the sports and public building has been commissioned, handed over to the cadets. It is very important that the order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on the construction of a cadet corps in Sevastopol within the framework of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Crimea and Sevastopol has been fulfilled. Today we can proudly report this. I am very grateful to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin for the decision to create a separate legal entity, a separate educational institution in Sevastopol — the Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named after Vladimir Ivanovich Istomin. In Sevastopol, we have a whole tradition of cooperation with our military construction complex, traditionally everything is done in the shortest possible time, at a high level. I would like to separately thank Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Vadimovich Ivanov, who personally oversaw this project and repeatedly came to the construction site– quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The building of the sports and public complex of the cadet corps was built according to the Federal target program. The customer of the facility is the State Public Institution “Unified Directorate for Capital Construction”. Almost 200 military builders worked on the completion of the work, who built the FLC in 257 days. The building includes an assembly hall, sports, fitness, dance halls, showers, a choreography class, a library with a reading room and a shooting gallery. An obstacle course, basketball, volleyball, outdoor physical education, board games, and a recreation area have been made on the adjacent territory.
Our guys today got what our youth probably needs at the present time. You know perfectly well that there are not only guys here who live on the peninsula, these are our orphans from all over Russia, plus guys from the liberated territories. Today they have received an excellent complex for creative work and sports. The complex actually covers all those areas that are necessary for the harmonious development of the personality of a young person. Today, the Sevastopol Cadet Corps is becoming a leader in the Investigative Committee system. This is a symbolic place, a symbolic land, all this allows us to confidently declare that here we will bring up real patriots of our country.— says the head of the educational work department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Hero of the Russian Federation, Major General of Justice Sergey Petrov.
Today, the Sevastopol Cadet Corps of the Russian Investigative Committee is 12,550.36 square meters of educational and residential space next to one of the main historical sights of Sevastopol — Malakhov Kurgan. More than 150 pupils aged from 13 to 18 study in the corps — these are young men and women who decided to devote themselves to serving the Law, children from among orphans and children left without parental care, children of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, schoolchildren who arrived from the new territories of our Motherland — the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The next task facing the Investigative Committee is the patriotic education of our youth today, unfortunately, we have examples of neighboring territories where this important part has been lost. Today, here in Sevastopol, as part of the activities of our cadet corps named after Vladimir Ivanovich Istomin, just such work is underway, very good, powerful. I believe that one of the best bases that exists here is created precisely so that children can develop comprehensively and know what the Motherland is. This is the most important, the most necessary thing in today’s day.— emphasizes the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Vladimir Terentyev.
Recall that the Cadet Corps was built in record time. Its infrastructure includes: an educational building for 15 classrooms, a residential building for 40 cubicles (5 people each), a canteen for 100 people (food in 2 shifts), an administrative building with offices for employees and teachers, a museum, a conference room, a library. All rooms are equipped with furniture, office equipment, classrooms — desks, interactive whiteboards, projectors and other modern equipment. During the construction of the corps, memorial walls made of Krymbala stone on the defense line of 1854-1855 were preserved and taken under special protection: «Battery No. 6 Gervais» and «Poltava Infantry Regiment».
