In Sevastopol — performances of the charity project «Young Actors for the Children of Donbass»

On the stage of the Sevastopol Center for Culture and Arts 13 and 28 August, performances of the charity project «Young actors – to the children of Donbass.”
- 13 August in 13: will screen a production for teenagers «Young love in five theatrical dimensions» . This is an innovative play-lesson based on William Shakespeare’s tragedy «Romeo and Juliet». As conceived by the creators, the love story of the characters is revealed using the aesthetic techniques of five different types of theater: antique, dell’arte, kabuki, Stanislavsky’s system and Brecht’s theater.
- 20 August at : 00 and 15: 00 it will be possible to see the children’s production of «Little Red Riding Hood & the Gray Wolf» — a kind and cheerful musical fairy tale by Evgeny Krylatov.
Projects implemented within the walls of our institutions for children temporarily residing in other regions are becoming a good tradition for us and are regularly held. Our future is children, and childhood has no state borders, nationalities and political positions. Childhood is all about tricks, mischief and infectious laughter. Therefore, it is precisely such social projects as this one that deserve recognition and support , — the press service of the director of the Department of Culture of Sevastopol quotes Irina Romanets.
The first performances for children and teenagers of Donbass took place in early August in Moscow, then the artists went on a tour of the southern regions of Russia. In total, the organization «Musical Heart of the Theater» plans to hold more than 19 shows for 13 thousands of children and teenagers in different regions of the country. The large-scale project was organized with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Governments of the Rostov Region, the Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol, the Republic of Crimea, other regions and public associations.
Thanks to the sincere work of young artists, our touring project will convey the right moral values that will form positive personal qualities in young viewers of performances. We do not leave children from Donbass alone with their fears, questions, experiences and problems, but introduce them to the theater, give topics and reasons for expressing emotions, including them in positive creative, spiritual and intellectual activity , — says producer Dmitry Kalantarov.
Recall, “Young Actors for the Children of Donbass” is one of the first projects aimed at helping children temporarily residing in other regions, which was supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. From 13 August to September, the fund announced accepting applications for the next, fourth special grant competition for creative teams from all over the country on the website 28of the fund for cultural initiatives.rf . Five of the fund’s grant areas are dedicated to Donbass.
