In Sevastopol, preventive raids are held to prevent forest fires

Employees of the Sevastopol Forestry conducted a planned raid in a special fire regime. The event was attended by representatives of the horse police, including the commander of the department of the cavalry platoon of the 2nd company OBPPPSP named after V.I. Buzina of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol, police sergeant Ignatiev R.V.

The main goal of the raid was to examine the forest territories for the identification of persons who incite bonfires, as well as the location of transport or citizens in the areas forbidden to visit areas. Forestry workers, together with the police, checked hard -to -reach areas, paying attention to potentially dangerous places — The press service of the Government of Sevastopol reported.

According to the results of the inspection, there were no violators, which indicates the consciousness of citizens and the effectiveness of the ongoing preventive measures. Employees of forestry and police will continue to joint work to protect natural resources and prevent forest fires in the city.
