In Sevastopol, public discussions of the tunnel project on ul. Fire

Public discussions lasted from January 28 to February 14 on the website of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Sevastopol. During this time, five sentences and comments were received. All of them are transferred to the work of the contracting organization.
The tunnel from Pozharov Street to Ochakovtsev Street will help unload the central roads of the city.
During the construction of the tunnel, residential buildings will not be demolished. Nevertheless, for the placement of individual structures and utilities, a partial removal of small parts of the land plots will be required. These decisions are inevitable in conditions of constrained development and imply compensation payments.
In addition, for organizing a safe road traffic and the operation of the tunnel, the construction of a dispatch point is provided, which houses all systems of life support of objects. The technical and economic indicators of this dispatching point pointed to the only possible place where it could be placed-this is in the place of the existing gas station, it will be dismantled.
One of the entrances to the tunnel will be made in the area of the gas station on Pozharov Street, and the other near house No. 26 on General Petrov Street. The width of the carriageway of the designed tunnel is 7.5 meters and includes two lanes. This width is enough to ensure safe movement, including public transport. The length of the road tunnel is 317 meters and consists of a closed and open ramp parts, while a closed (underground part) is made by a length of 237 meters. The depth of the tunnel is 19 meters. The total height of the construction of the road tunnel is 10 meters.
The entrances to the tunnel are designed by open ramp sites with the equipment of information display, signs of a variable information and lighting. The tunnel will be equipped with systems of power supply, electric lighting, communication, sanitation, fire water supply, ventilation.
