Marking must be updated primarily for road safety. On behalf of the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Pravozhaev, we began this work since mid -March. In total, we need to update about 900 km of road markings and 800 pedestrian crossings,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, Deputy Director of the State Property Committee “Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Roman Bulavkin.
174 km, and more than 150 pedestrian crossings have already been updated.
The governor set the task until June 1 to update the road markings on the entire street network of the city. At this time of the year, Sevtodor performs work using enamel so that the marking is visible, including at night, displaying from the headlights.
Marking is updated twice a year, in August it will be applied by thermoplastic — this is a more persistent material.
First of all, work was carried out on the periphery, now they update road markings in the central part of Sevastopol.
