In Sevastopol, Russian Guards detained a man suspected of robbing a store

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The patrol crew of the Department of Private Security of the Russian Guard, together with employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, identified a suspect in illegal actions committed in one of the trading establishments of the hero city.

It has been previously established that a 30-year-old visitor from the Siberian Federal District got a job as a laborer in a jewelry store located on the main street of the hero city, but could not resist the temptation to illegally enrich himself through goods from the assortment of the trading floor. Deciding to create an alibi for himself, the man told his employer that he had gone to St. Petersburg for several days, and at night he broke the glass on the front door of the store and stole 11 beads made of natural stones and expensive perfumes from the display case. Passers-by who happened to witness what was happening reported the attacker’s actions to the police, but he still stole goods worth a total of 19 thousand rubles and disappeared— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Sevastopol).

As a result of search activities, the suspect was detained by patrolmen of the regional Office of Private Security of the Russian Guard and officers of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district of Sevastopol.
