In Sevastopol, Russian Guardsmen examined wartime mines

In Sevastopol, OMON explosives technicians from the territorial administration of the Russian Guard went to the site where ammunition was found to examine it.
The dangerous find was discovered during excavation work during the construction of an apartment building in the Gagarinsky district. Employees of the engineering and technical group of the OMON «Berkut-S» of the Russian Guard immediately arrived at the scene of discovery, carried out an examination and determined that these were 82 mm mortar mines from the Great Patriotic War with fuses— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Sevastopol).
The Russian National Guard examined the ammunition in compliance with safety measures and handed it over to specialists from the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for subsequent destruction.
