In Sevastopol, school camps are completed work

This summer in Sevastopol, 14 school camps of daytime stays worked, which were visited by 1018 children. Unlike suburban camps, only one 21-day shift in the schools. The camp at school No. 33 visited 70 children from Balaklava schools No. 25, 30 and 33.

Our school camp has been working for the second year. The camp is called the «Academy of Magic.» Here we are implementing the program «Orlates of Russia», as we are the flagship school in Sevastopol. There are five detachments of 14 people in the camp. Children from grades 1 to 4 are happy to visit our camp. We hold various events. Within the framework of the program «Orlyate of Russia» in the camp, children go to various events. Our guys visited the Laspi tract, went to Ternovka, visited the Balaklava submariners, the 35th battery, Sapun Goru, Patriot Park, and Chernorechye. They participated in competitions where each detachment scored points to receive the prize at the end of the shift. On the City Day, the guys watched the sights in the city center and participated in the action «Sevastopol — my dear city.» Our fire and rescue service came to us, children were shown to extinguish fires, told how the employees of the Ministry of Emergencies work, -quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, director of school No. 33 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Ivanovich Gerasimov Natalia Ivashchenko.

One of the last events in this school camp was the master class “Candle of Memory. Eternal memory to the heroes ”with the participation of veterans-submariners. The action is dedicated to the commemorative date — June 22, the Day of Memory and Sorrow, the day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The guys laid candles in the fraternal cemetery of the warriors of the Great Patriotic War.

For me, being an eagle is pride, because we help the elders, we find out something new every day, and I really like it. I was in the camp for the first time, many excursions were conducted for us. Mentors in the camp are very kind, will always help and support. I am familiar with many guys in the camp, I have many friends in different detachments, ”said Veronika, participant in the camp at school No. 33.

I am in the camp for a second time. It is very cool and fun here. Many excursions, master classes. We played new games, watched cartoons, did a lot of interesting things. In the camp, I found many new friends, even in those detachments where there were no my friends. The shift went unnoticed, very saturated, ”said another Pauline participant.

At the solemn closure of the camp shift, the guys from each detachment showed creative scenes, and then became participants in a large flash mob.
