In Sevastopol, schoolchildren from the governor's detachments work in a plant nursery

In Sevastopol, the governor’s labor detachments continue their activities. Some schoolchildren are involved in plant care in the nursery of the Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Territories and Forestry.

The guys have been working on our territory for the second summer. They weed beds with seedlings in the open field and in greenhouses, water the plants, collect the seeds of the Crimean pine from dried cones. Upon admission to work, we provide instructions, warn that you need to have a change of clothes, a hat, provide the guys with drinking water and personal protective equipment. We try to pass on our experience to children, they will learn a lot of new things here. For example, how to grow a tree from the seeds of a cone— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the nursery and afforestation department of the directorate of specially protected natural areas and forestry, Yuri Plakhtiy.

The minimum work period for students is two weeks. Upon agreement with the employer, the working period can be extended. Also, during the period of temporary employment, minors are paid additional material assistance from the Employment Center.

To become a member of the governor’s school teams, the main thing is that the children must have a desire. Students can check all information with their teachers. To apply for a job, you need a passport, SNILS, TIN, a certificate in the form 086 / U, a certificate from the place of study and bank card details. On the basis of each school, its own governor’s school detachment was created, they have their own commanders and commissars. The guys meet throughout the year, at meetings they talk about job opportunities— notes the head of the direction of the governor’s school labor detachments Ksenia Darchich.

This year, 2,115 schoolchildren aged 14-17 years old were employed, they work on the basis of the Tourism Development Center, the Parks and Squares institution, the Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Territories and Forestry, and places for employment are provided by objects of culture, sports, science and education.

Recall that in 2020, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev took the initiative to create governor’s school labor teams. For the first time, such detachments were formed in 2021 and united thousands of Sevastopol schoolchildren. Thanks to this project, the guys can earn their first money and gain skills in the profession.
