In Sevastopol schools, the extracurricular activity “Talking about Important Things” was dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day

On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, a thematic extracurricular lesson from the series “Talks about important things” was held in schools and colleges in Russia. In Sevastopol gymnasium No. 24, the school week traditionally began with a ceremonial assembly and the performance of the Russian national anthem and the anthem of Sevastopol.

The students were introduced to the military oath — the oath taken by a citizen who joins the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. Deputy Director for Educational Work at Gymnasium No. 24 Nina Vyakhireva said that on the eve of the holiday, the institution holds various events and promotions dedicated to the memory of heroes of the past and present.

In gymnasium No. 24, thematic classes were organized to honor veterans, and an exhibition of drawings was organized. Particular attention is paid to participants in a special military operation. The students prepared greeting cards and wrote letters to the soldiers expressing gratitude for their service. Our high school students also continue to collect waste paper.
