Sevastopol residents took part in the by-elections of a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the second convocation in single-mandate constituency No. 1. Voting was held at polling stations in the Balaklava district.
Specialists of the EMERCOM of Russia supervisory body thoroughly checked the day before: they assessed the provision of fire safety standards, the availability and serviceability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, automatic fire alarm and warning devices, the condition and accessibility of evacuation routes and emergency exits. On the Single Voting Day — September — representatives of emergency services monitored the order at the polling stations. Fire safety was provided by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol. All operating 34 sites were covered. Involved 40 personnel and 1 piece of equipment , — reported the press service of the EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol.
Voting in the Sevastopol region took place without incident.
