The selection point for contract military personnel is the starting point for everyone who has decided to connect their life with service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The candidates include both experienced fighters and those for whom this is their first contract. I decided to conclude a contract, following the example of my friends and older comrades. Many have already concluded a second contract and speak extremely positively about the experience. The man admits that in the current situation, young people cannot remain on the sidelines:

While you are young and full of strength, you must make your contribution and stand up for the defense of your Motherland. I believe that my skills and qualifications have been useful to a large number of people here, which I am certainly happy about. At any moment I am ready to join my comrades in the special operation zone.

According to him, dozens of men come to the selection point every day. Most people who want to sign a contract learn the military profession from scratch.

Today, the procedure for concluding a contract has been simplified as much as possible. Candidates bring documents, undergo testing and an interview with a psychologist. Also a mandatory stage of selection is passing physical fitness standards and passing a medical commission. Based on the results of all tests, the candidate will be offered several specialties to choose from.— Andrey said.

At the training center, military personnel under a contract receive a salary in the amount of 30 to 45 thousand rubles, and when concluding a contract for a period of one year — a lump sum of 195 thousand rubles. In the zone of a special military operation, depending on military rank, position and length of service, the salary for contract soldiers ranges from 170 to 200 thousand rubles; for the destruction or seizure of enemy weapons and military equipment — from 50 thousand to 1 million rubles; for each km of advance as part of assault troops — 50 thousand rubles. There are also daily payments for participation in active offensive operations — 8 thousand rubles.

Let us remind you that military personnel are provided with about 15 social benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and others.

To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificates.
