In Sevastopol, ship captains and their passengers were called to order
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The marine season in the Sevastopol region is in full swing. To maintain order and ensure safety on the waters and coast of Balaklava, employees of the Center of the State Inspection for Small Vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the city of Sevastopol went on another raid. The patrol was conducted jointly with representatives of the Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Areas and Forestry, who checked compliance with the requirements of the special fire safety regime.
They sailed from Balaklava Bay to Cape Aya, where the nature reserve is located. Currently, due to the high fire hazard, it is forbidden to visit the protected area. Vacationers who decided to ignore this requirement were found in the Lost World area. After meeting with inspectors, they left the protected natural area. Other violations were also identified. Fishermen who were in a boat without life jackets and boat captains who, during a boat trip, allowed passengers to swim in dangerous grottoes and to be on a watercraft in places other than those specially designated were brought to administrative responsibility. reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
Kayakers were also called to order: those who were lured by the thirst for thrills far out to sea were reminded that such watercraft are allowed to move a maximum of 250 meters from the shore.
