From October 10 to 25, the festival of the First Movement “Family Team” is taking place in Sevastopol as part of the All-Russian project “Challenge of the First”. Students from Sevastopol schools will take part in it along with their parents and family members. Participants will face team tests in various sports activities: jump rope, long jump, flexibility, relay race and darts.
The first competitions have already been held on the basis of primary departments in schools No. 12 and No. 8. In addition to I, II and III places, additional nominations were introduced in Sevastopol, recognizing the most flexible, fast, and dexterous festival participants. In addition, even a support group can receive a certificate for the most creative poster.
One of the values of the First Movement is a strong family. Nothing unites parents and children as strongly as joint activity, especially if it is useful and very active, because a culture of a healthy lifestyle is formed, first of all, in the family, when children see the example of their parents. Parents are especially distinguished during the tests — it is impossible to convey the passion and support that they demonstrate when passing the tests, and most importantly, the children, seeing this support, do even better. I am sure that such festivals will become a good tradition of our Movement, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the Movement of the First, Anna Molchanova.
Anyone can support the family sports festival of the Movement of the First, who have previously registered on the website bevdvizhenie.rf and submitted applications for the event indicating the type of activity and distance, as well as indicating the team members — family members. This tradition, the press service of the First Movement notes, will be continued. And family competitions will be held more than once at the First Movement sites throughout the country.

Let us remind you that the Russian Movement of Children and Youth was formed by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, its founding meeting took place on July 20, 2022.
The First Movement received its name based on voting results at the First Congress of the Russian Children and Youth Movement in Moscow, which took place from December 18 to 20. The delegates also approved 12 areas of work and 11 common values, including “Life and Dignity”, “Patriotism”, “Goodness and Justice”, “Creative Work”, “Strong Family” and others. Among the main missions of the participants are “Be with Russia”, “Be human”, “Be together”, “Be in the Movement”, “Be the first”.
The activities of the Movement are aimed at creating opportunities for comprehensive development and self-realization, professional guidance for children, as well as organizing leisure time.
You can join the Movement from the age of six. Participants can be minors studying in primary general, basic general, secondary vocational and higher education programs.
